Idea #24: Export Reports from the Stats Tool

Rationale
It would be really useful to be able to export your custom report from the stats tool so that it can be emailed. This would be good to be able to give feedback to providers (and probably councillors etc) about what their own "offer" looks like over a period of time.

Generate an excel file somehow from the stats tool. I'm not exactly sure how you would do this but there must be a way I imagine?

I think (certainly from my knowledge) it might be easier to generate a PDF. Maybe we could use FPDF (http://www.fpdf.org/) again, as I know both myself and David have both had a play around with this.

Hi Duncan

This is a nice idea. I've been working on the CSV export on the Places to Go, Things to Do, and Activity Provider tags.

I've stuck to CSV so that the data is then portable. (with Open Office it would be easy to PDF it - yeay OpenOffice!)

We're testing it just now. I expect a basic release in March, with user feedback improvements as it starts to get used.

Just a quick update:

Some exports to csv have been incorporated into the tool now - there still needs to be some work/thought/action around the 'reports' tab and the charts.
